Some jobs are more than just transportation. When an urgent delivery for the mining industry to Mauritania was requested, it was clear that it was time for special solutions. A charter flight was the only option – an Antonov An-26 brought the goods from Luxembourg to Nouakchott. From there, they continued by truck to the site. Order executed. Fast. Safe. Across continents.

Initial situation: On 19.11.2024, our air freight department receives a very urgent request for a shipment to Nouadhibou in Mauritania.

Task: Machine spare parts are urgently needed for the mining industry. Without this, work cannot continue in Nouadhibou. Mining is an important economic factor in Mauritania.

Solution: Due to the urgency, only a charter flight was an option.

Implementation: We chartered an Antonov An-26 from Luxembourg to Nouakchott. Our project manager traveled to Luxembourg to supervise the loading on the apron. Landing in Nouakchott on 22.11.2024. From there, the truck took them to their destination.

Result: We helped our customer to keep downtime to a minimum.
