Social commitment is particularly important to us at Maintaler. We all see ourselves as part of society and are involved in various associations and social institutions.

We provide financial support to regional charitable organizations. In addition, we provide our logistics expertise and our fleet of vehicles to transport clothing, emergency equipment or machinery to where help is urgently needed.

A matter of honor: the Christmas parcel convoy

Logistics? We can. And if we can help, there’s nothing better in the world. That’s why we support the Christmas parcel convoy campaign every year with articulated lorries and plenty of manpower.
Kindergartens and schools pack Christmas parcels for needy children in Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.
For these children, most of whom live in great poverty, this is usually the only present they receive at Christmas. So we play a bit of Santa Claus and take the presents to the children. In return, we get the best reward: bright children’s eyes and loud laughter.

We burn for sport

We regularly support youth teams in the region, such as Spvgg. 1910 e.V. Langenselbold, Sportvereinigung 1922 Roßdorf e.V. and FC Germania 08 Dörnigheim. We are convinced: Nothing brings kids from all social backgrounds together as easily as sport. Playing together, fighting for each other, standing up for the others in the team, making friends, simply being a team. This builds character and is also healthy.

Aid campaign for Ukraine

Our donation campaign for Ukraine filled nine articulated lorries with relief supplies in 2022. We then drove these to the Polish-Ukrainian border with our partners. We would like to thank all our friends and business partners for their overwhelming support and our employees for their coordination.

Relief transports for the flood victims on the Ahr

In July 2021, we provided several trucks and articulated lorries for transporting relief supplies to the flood areas along the Ahr. From emergency power generators and power distributors to food and everyday necessities. We also collected relief supplies at our site and delivered them to the crisis area. Thank you to the countless business partners, private donors and our fantastic team who supported us so actively.

Projects close to our heartsWesupport charitable organizations in the region

The examples shown here are just a small selection of what we support. Many of these donations were one-offs – but our commitment does not stop there. We help wherever support is needed: with the scouts, in kindergartens or with local projects that are close to our hearts. These campaigns often arise spontaneously, simply because we realize that help is needed. It is important to us to be a reliable part of the community – with open eyes, open ears and a willingness to lend a hand where we can really make a difference.

StrassenEngel e.V.

The StrassenEngel e. V. association has set itself the task of helping the homeless and those in need. Within the association, there are various projects to support people in need, e.g. with emergency sleeping places, a street ambulance, a cold bus and much more. With a donation of 5,000.00 euros, we have supported people who are on the margins of our society.

The Issigheim food bank

Even in our region, there is more “hidden” poverty than many might think. More and more people are affected by this. To support them, the Issigheim food bank has set up collection points for non-perishable food at several supermarkets in the region. As there are often not enough donations, the association buys food to give to people in need. We supported the 2022 initiative with a donation of 2,500.00 euros.

LaLeLu e.V. Bruchköbel

The LaLeLu association supports families with terminally ill children in the Main-Kinzig district. With great commitment, the helpers create individual relief offers and space for affected families.

For example, through quality of life-enhancing activities with terminally ill children and siblings – activities such as excursions, handicrafts, baking, vacation camps. In addition, the association also helps with administrative matters, correspondence with health insurance companies or care facilities. We have supported the important work of the association with a donation of 2,500.00 euros.
